Mid-Ohio Food Collective Tackles Summer Hunger

It expects to serve more than 110,000 meals for kids

This summer, the Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) expects to serve more than 110,000 free meals to children — a record number for the nonprofit.

"It is important for children to have consistent access to nutritious meals," said Sha-wana Pressley-Ranson, MOFC's director of prepared foods. "We understand it helps them feel better, helps them learn better and helps them thrive."
